Looking forward to the x4400H release. Hopefully I'll be able to afford a x4300h then!

From the Denon launch new X6400, X4400 and X3400 AV Receivers news thread:

It is also safe to assume that the suggested retail price for the new flagship model will be within the region of £2.5 - 3K given the suggested price for the AVR-X6400.

It would be interesting to find out how many actually use the FM/AM tuners on new receivers, especially with most new Receivers having internet radio. I certainly haven't used the onboard tuners for many years.

I've never used the analogue tuner included with any of the receivers I've had over the past 20 years. This is mainly due to the fact you'd really need to have a more substantial FM antenna than the ones included with the receivers if serious about wanting to access radio content and if not a regular radio listener than you are unlikely to want to spend moneu on such an antenna. I do now occassionally use the internet tuner though. The new Yamaha receivers will be including a DAB tuner, but I fail to see the benefits of this over internet radio?

The times I've used internet radio on my 6200, let alone over the air broadcasts, I can count on one hand. There is a perfectly good DAB radio in the kitchen which the wife can listen to when I lock her in there. Is there need for anything else?
