Having just read this article, I immediately fired up my KDL-42W654A, and was greeted by the message 'This TV will not be supported from 26th September'

This is the first time I've used Amazon Prime App on this TV.

I'll be waiting with bated breath for my letter :)

It's not just Sony TVs. I use Amazon Prime on a Sony Blu-Ray player and it also has a message saying that support will stop in September 2019. I can't actually read it all because the message goes beyond the width of the screen. I expect other Sony disc players will be affected. I haven't received any email from Amazon yet.

I got an email from Amazon on 24th July:
It was not clear which TV it actually referred to from the email as it mentioned no model number, but the news article confirms my suspicion that it was the KDL-40CX523. Surprised it has been supported for so long as it is the Sony streaming interface and not the newer Amazon interface.

Also surprised that I got sent a voucher code as I've bought 3 Fire TV Sticks over the years! :)
