Hi Guys, having browsed the forum on anf off for a while i just thought i'd pop on and say hi.

My current list of equipment for my audiopleasure

is

Cambridge Audio One
B&W 686
B&W ASW608

I also have my tv/bluray linked through this

Its a nice little system with some serious punch but not 'boomy'. I've use quality cables and connectors from my local hifi specialist

Anyone have any comments?

hello, i've also got a pair of the 686's and quite liking them, auditioned them with the 685's and monitor br equivalent and thought 686's were good enough to save the £100.
currently have these hooked up to a marantz 1070 and rega planar 3 but would really like the 686's to eventually be rear speakers on a 5.1 system (maybe in far future though :) ).

Yeah i'll be looking at upgrading the amp in time and using the 685's as the main speakers and the 686's as rears.....although I'm not sure if I'd need too?

The setup I have is fantastic for audio on a budget and i'm not sure that i'd like a hifi with more than two channels and a sub for music......for films yes, but I wouldnt want to compromise my set up for films only as it's mainly a music system
