Newbie Speaker Building

Basically ive decided i want a bash and speaker building, just basic, not taking my speakers to anymore small house parties and risking blowing them.

I have some old pioneer speakers, 22cm cones on them blown tweeters tho, goin to bin the insides as its blown.

Anyway...

Seems the tweeters have inbuilt crossovers, would they be ok together.
Not after great sound quality at all, just fairly loud sound!

As you can see i know nothing really so help me out please!

It is very difficult to know how they will sound, you could design/develop your own crossovers but normally simply adding new drive units will not result in a reasonable speaker package.

Thanks for reply, just fancy havin a bash really, designing/developing my own crossovers sound a bit to complicated to me well i guess i could be dont want to go that far yet just a mess about project really, the speakers as they are dont work and they are blown, just want them for creating mass noise at small house parties.

Will they work together?

Probably but as for how they will sound is another matter. You could buy some old Kefs, Wharfdale or Celestions for around £20 as a low risk alternative
