Hi,
I was lucky enough to bag 1 each of the following from Argos:-

Sony DCR-TRV14e
Panasonic NV-GS10B
JVC GR-DX95

I only plan to keep one & will sell the others via this forum (if allowed) but I have no idea which is the one to go for. The panasonic is tiny, the sony is bulkier & the JVC looks & feels more expensive & better made (it was the most expensive of the 3).

I only want a point & shoot, so any advice would be gratefully received.

If you just want to point and shoot most will cope with no problems. But low budget jvc cameras tend to have better low light abilities to the budget counterparts. Also it should have an analogue to digital converter with it making the jvc a more usefull camcorder, allowing you to record from your vcr to the camcorder.

I would go with the JVC
