Im considering a LCD screen.

I have a Hyundai TFT for my PC, and i like it.
proper 16.7 M colours, not the 16.2 M that alot of screens have.

Hyundai also have a 3 dead pixel and replace warranty.

Whats the state of warranties with the LCD TVs?
Is there a 0 duff pixel warranty?

Is Plasma better than LCD for avoiding the blacklight banding?

Any thing else i should look out for?

Cheers for your thoughts :)

Currently, plasma is generally agreed to be the better picture, but resolution is an issue for LCD users. Many 42" screens are only WVGA, way below current PC res. LCD's tend to be much better in this respect, though currently not anywhere else! Dead pixels, they all say pretty much the same. It depends where it is and what colour it's stuck on and how hard you argue. Very likely also where you've bought it from. Buy it cheap cheap on the internet, and caveat emptor, mate.
