Hi,
I've had a Denon AVR x4400h for couple of years. I've connected my laptop and blu-ray/dvd/cd player to it via HDMI. I have a 5.1 speaker setup.
On the night time I'd like to use headphones so I don't wake up the neighbors. The AVR's internal headphone amp seemed a bit limited, so I purchased Schiit Magni3+ headphone amp. The problem is, I have no clue how to connect it.
I tried connecting Zone2 RCA preouts to Schiit's inputs, powered on the zone2, selected the correct input, but cant hear a thing from headphones.
If I connect L/R preouts to headphone amp I can hear the sound from headphones, but also from main speakers, so that kinda defeats the purpose.
Any ideas how to do this? All help is highly appreciated.
