Hello everyone! I'm about to take the plunge into the PJ market, and have a few _really_ stupid questions - so be patient! I have been considering the Infocus SP4805, the Toshiba MT200, and the Optoma EzPro 739. I have demo'd the Panny 500 and SP4805, and the SP4805 was _way_ better to my eyes. I could see rainbows if I really tried, but during normal viewing I had no problems at all. My questions are: 1. Is there a _big_ difference between 2x and 4x colour wheels? 2. If the PJ is purely for DVD playback, and I am feeding it prog scan PAL/NTSC from my Arcam DV79, which will give me the best quality image? My thinking is that, given that the Optoma can display PAL prog scan without scaling, surely that is the best option (assuming that the 5-segment, 2x colour wheel isn't too bad for rainbows). The SP4805 and MT200, on the other hand, need to scale the image down to 854x480. Am I on the right track, or have I missed something fundamental here? Cheers, Neil.
