Hi - can anyone give me some advice please regarding a decent capture system for my PC?
I want to be able to capture direct from VCR as MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 without excess frame dropping. MPEG-2 would not be absolute priority, as VCR source material isn't exactly great anyway, but it would be useful.
So far, I have found that the Dazzle range of products are well rated, but I can't seem to determine which product is best - the DV Hollywood Bridge or the Digital Video Creator II.
To give you more help, at some point I would like to burn to DVD-R for playback in DVD player, but at present VCD would be my output standard.
My PC is an Athlon 650, 20GB HD, 128MB TNTPro 32 AGPx2 Video. I don't have a FireWire port, however.
Can anyone who uses either product give me some pros/cons - or indeed can anyone who uses something else and gets quality results please post recommendations?

    Thanks
