    Hi,

I've been following some of the threads here with interest, I'm very close to putting my hand in my pocket for a PT AE100 and Lecson 1000..

Can somebody just clear up a couple of points, how do I connect the Lecscon to th AE100 to get both NTSC and PAL PS ??

I'm guessing with the component out, but I've got a little confused with all the different connector and PS mode..

    Thanks

Go for the Panny by all meens, but hold of on the Lecson, it has a streaking problem with progressive scan.
To answer your question, the Lecson has componant out just for progressive scan, you need a set of componant leads to connect from there to the Projector.
If you read through my earlier threads on the Panny with the Lecson you will know what I am talking about.
I believe Cyberhome are bringing out a progressive scan player soon, and it should be cheap.

Once again thanks, what a helpful chap :)

Going to get rid of my Toshiba 40PW03B and buy a more normal TV, and use the PJ for DVD's etc..

Be sad to see my old Tosh go though, its a great box :) Much better than the Sony KP41DS1 it replaced

I put an advert in the "for sale" forum and had one interesting nibble already. If you know anybody that might want a nice RP
Tosh point them in my direction...

Yeah I had my KP41 for about three months, bit of an impulse purchase  It had really bad streaking across the screen e.g.
if you had a dark background and a light object in the foreground it would band across the screen !!!

Sony came out about 3 times to try and fix it but they didn't get anywhere really. Returned it to the shops I bought it from as "not of merchantable quality". They weren't to upset as I bought the Tosh and a decent Sony DVD Player..

Think my wife will be glad to see the back of the Tosh though, it is a bit bulky..

Also anybody know a good place ot get an AE100 that has a good dead pixel policy ?
