Hello.

I'm looking for a 28-32" budget flat widescreen tv which doesn't need to have lots of features, just first class picture and sound for watching dvds and videos. Anyone out there have any suggestions?

What would be ideal would be a large monitor that could connect up to a vcr and dvd player, as we don't watch tv.

Also, does anybody have any opinions on Finlux tvs?

O.K. I'll reply to my own post :)

I'm wavering between three choices.

Phillips 28" real flat screen for £280 from the local supermarket.

Sony 28" for £450 with 5 years guarantee.

Sony 28" for £550 with 5 years guarantee, with dvd and vcr.

What do you reckon everyone?

Are guarantees worth the extra?
