Hi all, Appologies if this is in the wrong forum and appologies if it is the same old question asked again...

I am looking at buying my first home cinema setup but have a very small budget at the moment. I have been looking on RicherSounds and seen the following kit and just wanted any advice. Ideally I would like to go the seperates route but it seems to be a bit of a minefield...

    Sony STRDE495 - £99.95
    http://www.richersounds.co.uk/index.php?f=itemdetl.php&p=301893

    Eltax HT2 Rear Speakers - £29.95
    http://www.richersounds.co.uk/index.php?f=itemdetl.php&p=301987

    Mission M71i Fronts - £59.95
    http://www.richersounds.co.uk/index.php?f=itemdetl.php&p=301131

    Mission M7ci Centre - £49.95
    http://www.richersounds.co.uk/index.php?f=itemdetl.php&p=301622

The next question is, I have managed to acquire a set of Pioneer Speakers and Subwoofer would they be ok on the amp until I buy the main speakers.

The room size is 14ft x 14ft (roughly)

My budget will only be £300 MAX over a couple of months this has to include speakers also, I dont want to go the second hand route either, oh and to top it all off it HAS to be Wife Friendly.

I hope I have put the right information in there and I appreciate any help.

p.s. I already own the DVD Player - Pioneer DV-454

    Wife Accepatance Factor :smashin:

I think you are selling yourself short ignoring the second hand market especially for a better amp than the low range Sony

Pio speakers ok with basic amp, look at pioneer VCXS 100 and 300 range, also make sure speakers are magnetically shielded.
