    Hello everybody.

I've just bought a flat and i'm currently in the process of kitting it out. I really want a plasma sceen tv but as you can imagine my budget is quite tight at the moment. I reckon i'll have about 1500 to spend on the tv alone. I would ideally like a 42", but would settle for a 37" if picture quality was going to suffer due to my budget.

Any information would be greatly appreciated thank you.

You can get the Panasonic PWD7 for about £1400 at the moment but you are likely to need extra input boards and cables for that, plus it's advised to get an extended warranty all of which will add on another few hundred so could push it over your budget. I believe you can get the 37" for around 1k so that could leave you some extra money for the extra bits you may need. Not sure on other 37" makes as to quality? There is possibly a new 42" Samsung coming out at around £1500 but not much info available on it as yet?
