    Hello all,

first please excuse my ignorance as im very new but earger to learn about this subject.
firstly i would like to know what upgrades should be made to my present pc to enable me to use my pc effectivly, but cheaply as most of my money is being spent on a projector, so any upgrades would have to be reasonably cheap ie under 200pounds.
    here r my specs
850mhz pentium 3 windows xp pro
    asus tusl2-c mother board
    creative extigy(external)
    nvidia geforce 2 gts(32mb)
    320mb ram
    16gb HD 6gb HD
    creative inspire 5.1 digital 5700
    LG dvd power dvd

ok what id llike to use my set up for obviously watching dvd`s and pc games also watching tv i have ntl set top box also playing dreamcast games.

also any advice on what type of projector i should get for using my pc with the projector i have about 1500pounds for the projector

any help would be most appreciated
    many thanks

    From www.komplett.co.uk

    Sapphire Radeon 9000 Pro - 71
512 Meg RAM - Not sure what RAM you have likely up to PC133? - 30 for 256 meg to add to the current RAM.
    Seagate Barracuda 5 7200RPM 80gig Drive - 77 (get rid of the other 2 HD's)

That should give you some healthy upgrades to get that HTPC up and running.
