So Ive got sky+ in my family room and currently watching on a 26inch Samsung lcd. Picture is ok but as expected not amazing.

Im going to move up to a bigger screen and also add an amp, speaker etc.

the Yam 2600 looks the business, HDMI and video upscaling.

So the question is - will the upscaling really work well so sky, etc will look the business on the bigger HD ready screen.

Most of the family will watch sky so if it still looks average on a bigger screen (or even worse!) whats the point until the HD source becomes more standard.

Does the amp upscaling really work well and show the best from a HD screen?
