Look at yamaha HiTB 40/45 try www.hifibitz.co.uk PS their offers on Pioneer 454 MR is hard to beat and the have a package with amp and speakers that shoul fit your budget. Or look at offers in the classifieds, S/H gear gives alot more bang per buck for a limited budget.

    Hi Stu
If you havent yet got the toshiba 330 have a look at the yamaha htib-65 empire direct have these in stock for £449 they should be around £600 .You get a great package for the price.
I did have the yamaha htib-45 when i started out and is a class higher than most all in one systems.
You might have enough left over to get good cables and interconnects.
    Cheers Gonzo.:)

yamaha htib-65 <- is this player multiregion? And do you know if it can play VCD/SVCD's??

This package looks really nice and I thinking about it but it all depends if it is easily made multiregion and can play vcds and svcds.

    Cheers
