    Hi,

I want to buy a MP3 player/USB2 flash drive with 512mb memory... just been searching online and the market is totally flooded with them.

Can anyone recommend any players to me... I just want it to work properly, sound good and look cool (of course)

    Thanks very much
    :lease:

iPod shuffle? Easy to use, and easily syncs with iTunes and changes songs/playlist. But it doesn't have a screen.

Or the Sony Sony NW-E99 Network Walkman. This has a screen and a longer battery life.

Or check out the MPMAN range.

Hi, thanks a lot for the response,
I am a bit anti-apple, or rather anti-itunes so was going to avoid anything ipod related, I would prefer to just drag and drop files in windows.

I will have a look at the sony one you recommend, I have found a Creative Muvo V200 which has a screen, fm radio and looks cool - anyone heard of these?

If you want to drag and drop, I don't think the Sony will be suitable.

I'm not sure but I think that Creatives do support drag and drop, so that might be suitable!

Why anti-itunes? I'm no apple fan-boy (I have bought Sony all my life) But I can appreciate how simple it is to use Itunes. Drag & drop would be great on every player but its not like its hard to use Itunes. Now if only Sony sorted out SonicStage............If u just want Drag + Drop then u have already limited your choice. Afterall its due 2 DRM we have music management programs wit players.

Hi, yes, I understand that i-tunes has its advantages, I just get the hump with being forced to use software for no apparent reason, when drag and drop should do the same job. Also I want to listen to recorded radio shows / comedies / etc, not just tunes...and I don't want to be forced to organise my mp3's into libraries.........I know - I am fussy and grumpy

Having listened to A MuVo, I can safely recommend one.

User interface is fine, battery life excellent and playback quality excellent - especially when you set the eq right.
