Haven't made a decision on a specific sub yet, but am at the point where I am putting cables in the wall etc for plasma, YSP1 install.

What cable do I need? Standard speaker cable, phono lead (are they all the same?).

Haven't had a sub before, so advice please? Advice on a small footprint sub suitable for the YSP1 would be appreciated

    Thanks

You want a mono interconnect. This will consist of a piece of coaxial cable with an RCA plug at either end - if you go to any website and look for "Subwoofer Cable" then you'll get the idea very quickly. Mark Grant does a very good one in the forum Power Buy section.

You don't provide a price range but depending on your budget you should consider looking at the BK XLS200, Velodyne SPL or DD series and perhaps the Sunfire models as a starter for 10. :)
