    Hi All,

New to the forum and need help on the Sony IP7!!

Clips and stills from the memory card I can download using the USB connection.

But not the AV clips from the micromv tape using the Firewire connection.

The Movie Shaker software that came in the box will not install into Windows XP that is running my PC.

When I connect the IP7 to the Firewire and turn on, the PC makes a sound which I assume its recoqnised a hardware has been connected. I then run Windows Movie Maker, try to record some footage to the PC but it says it doesn't recoqnise the format. But the funny thing is, I can control the main functions of the IP7 (play, FF, stop etc) from the control panel in Windows Movie Maker??!!

So how do people download their micromv clips to their PC's running XP?

Or is there a editing software that I can buy that will handle this Sony format?

    Please help!!

    Rgds
