    Hi All,

My new screen design (Not yet built) is 72" x 54" frame size with 68"x52" viewable screen (4:3 ratio) (2" black velvet border) using Dazian Celtic Coated Cloth as the projection material.

What i need to know is how do you work out the diagonal size of the screen ??

I'm sure there is an easy method ??

Sorry for a such simple question......

    Cheers

    Simply use Pythagoras' theorem....

    68^2 + 52^2 = 83.24^2

So it would be 83.24" diagonally.

    Cheers, Lee

    BTW should it not be 68 x 51 if it's a 4:3 format screen ?
