    Hi,
Finally upgraded to Broadband and am using the Thomson Speedtouch 330 USB modem,I have also bought a SMC router but having now checked the connections of the router it only has a RJ45 connection for the WAN :(
Would it be possible to use a USB to ethernet adapter for the modem and what impact would this have on connecting to the network,as the PC is configured for a USB device.
    Any help/advice appreciated.
    cheers
    Rob

    Cheers Owain
I'd considered buying that last week but opted for this SMC router
What is the routing part like, quite basic?I'm presuming I can still use the SMC for routing and connecting my other PC'c and just use the Ebuyer unit as an ethernet modem.
    Thanks for your input
    Rob
