hi guys im planning to wire my house for electric/lights/sockets/alarm/cat5e/sky+/phone/tv/radio is there any good books explaining how to wire this up with diagrams i will get most of the books from ebay/amazon cheers guys:D

Are you in the UK? If so electrical regs and appropriate reading is a must as you need to be aware of what you can and can't do legally.

I'm afraid I agree with Horny.

Amongst other things I'm a qualified Spark and I seriously would not recommend any large scale electrical work. Your DIY skill may be top notch, but if anything were to go wrong and your insurance company found out it was your work, you would find yourself in a real mess.
