    Hi all

What with xboxes so cheap now i think it's time i retired my ps1. I'm gonna get the halo live 4 game pack thingy for £139 from game (unless you guys no of a better deal) What I want to know is where is the cheapest place to buy games online or high street. I've had a look at play.com which look reasonable, anywhere cheaper?

Also what are the 'must have' games?

Please note i do not have broadband at home so cannot use the live thingymajig.

    Cheers one and all

Play is generally where I get my stuff. Gameplay can be good sometimes as well. Off the top of my head. (and obviously suggestive based on the genres you like)

Must Have: (and a lot of these are cheap now)
    Halo
    Timesplitters 2
    Munch's Oddysee
    ESPN Football (NFL2K)
    Splinter Cell

    PGR2
    GTA double pack
    Rainbow Six 3
    Max Payne 2
    Soul Calibur 2

Just found a site that does all the classic games for £15-17 Oddworld, Hitman 2 etc. All with free p&p. Gamesplanet.co.uk. Anyone used them?

I've used them before with no problems.

They send everything via recorded delivery and are usually very prompt.

Being new to all this please excuse my ignorance.

How does the xbox connect to your tv? Is it a scart cable? Does this come with the xbox? My 28" widescreen has 2 scart sockets. both currently used (dvd&video) Can I use the other sockets (component or something) What would be best? Also can I connect the xbox to my little tv in my room which only has an aerial socket?

    Cheers all

The Xbox comes with a composite lead and scart block, I would suggest getting a better lead tho either the hi-def pack (Component) or the advanced scart lead. As for your small TV you can get an RF lead for it too, I have seen them in Game and Blockbuster.

If you can get a copy from your local Woolworths Top Spin is a quality game for £12.99 don't know how long this offer will last tho.

12.99!!!!!! FOR TOPSPIN! holy fudge monkey! thats a blinding deal.

GAME are good for games. 10 day no fuss refund policy. play a game you dont like take it back and get a refund or exchange. obviously they will refuse a refund if you have mullered the disc or lost your receipt but an exchange may still be possible.

there web site also price matches other web sites and the 10 day is the same. if you dont like it take it back to a shop front and get a refund or exchange. result.
