(newbie alert) Projector for Pub/Club Enviroment?

Hi guys
can you knowledge lot recommend a projector around the £1500 mark for our local Rugby Club.

We have demoed a Sanyo PLC-SU40 from some guy who wanted (£10K) over 5 years. (I know I know we googled it for £1335 this unit has 1750 ANSI lumens contrast ratio 400:1)

I have a lot of experience in home cinema products ,but not in projectors but will install it myself.

He connected it up to Sky and the members were happy with this unit but can you recommend others of similar quality

Room size is 50 x 20 Ft.

Total darkness cannot really be achieved.

Has to be CRT. Any lamp-based PJ will suffer quickly from the ingress of cigarette smoke. Unless you can install it in a clean-air ventilated, airtight box.

I doubt you'll get a new CRT for GBP1500. And you'll need to budget for setup.
