Newb question

My sony amp has a subwoofer line output that connected to my now broken subwoofer which only had a single (mono) line input connection (but the sub was mains powered).

I'm looking at replacing it with a cheap subwoofer but they all seem to have stereo line inputs rather than the mono of my old sub.

Would I need to get a y-split or could I connected the line output from my amp to just one of the stereo line inputs of a replacement sub and all would work ok?

Answered your own question there. Just Use one of the inputs into your new sub. lfe channel is one channel, so just one input. HTH
