New TV

I am looking for a new TV for around £500 - £600 but I am really confused by the amount of choice there is. Can anyone suggest the best TV's that are in that price range?
Preferably LCD or LED.

If anyone needs to know the TV will mainly be used for gaming (PS3) and watching Blu-Ray.

LG PK350 or 590 for 50'', Panasonic G20 for 42'' with better filter, deeper black level, less IR and lower lag.

Yes all plasma, why plasma? well plasma has lower lag for gaming and better motion for gaming, bluray and sport. Deeper blacks also mean movie watching in a dark or dim room is better. Plasma has down sides but for me as a PS3 gamer and bluray watcher, plasma is the way to go.
