new TV recommendation budget 1k

i am after a new TV at least 46 inch. thought i may as well go for a 3D set, i have a ps3 but i probably won't set it up on the new TV, i will get a new 3D blu ray player.

I have had a look in currys and prefer the LG passive tvs, to the active televisions so the choices are
lg 47lw550t
LG LD950
LG LD920.

what are the main differences?
Any personal reviews?
Any other active TV s out there?
