After a new TV 4k with budget of £700 was looking at a Sony 55xe7002. But I need the set to have pip so I can play 2 hdmi sources. And reading up on Sony tvs they only let analogue and hdmi. Which is a shame can anyone recommend one with pip 2 hdmi sources .

As far as I knew most TVs only supported PIP from a digital and analogue source. Perhaps now some support smart TV and HDMI, not sure.

Its to do with processing limitations within the TVs SoC I would guess, the computers inside the TV just aren't powerful enough.

I could be wrong though. Probably the easiest way to find out for sure is to pop a live chat or email to all the TV manufacturers customer service and ask. They can do the dirty work of delving through the specs and manual of every TV instead then, because I don't know for certain how else you will find something like this out!

Short of trying it on the TVs yourself of course!
