New TV for kids under £250 - smart or not

Hi all,

I need to get the kids a TV for xmas and been looking at some smart TVs for around £250 and some not so smart ones for around £190.

We already have a Roku but I was also considering getting a Chrome thingy as I can buy movies through the family Play/Google account.

All three are fine. The J5500 and the Sony are very similar, and the J5100 is the same panel as the J5500, but 2 HDMI's, no smart, and a scart (unlike the J5500).

If you've got Chromecast/Roku, then the J5100 is fine. BTW - Those Amazon prices are exactly the same as a high street price, and you'll likely end up with a much longer warrenty if you look around.
