Got my new toy on Mon, the JVC AV32R25, at £160 cheaper than the high street boys were looking for – bargain. :) This has spelled the demise of Mrs Q’s mahogany Tv cabinet, which has been a pain in the A for so long. :) :)
Just a couple of Q’s for those familiar with this type of machine.
I used to have connected into the rear of my old Panasonic two leads into the RCA sockets which run to the Hi Fi unit which then amplifies to a couple of speakers. When I’ve plugged these into the RCA sockets at the rear of the JVC and turn on the Hi Fi and TV the external speakers need to be wound right up to get any output at all, and that is hardly audible but is from the TV. I’ve had a mess with the TV menus, turning various speakers on & off but to no avail. :(
Is there a magic trick I need to perform ?
Could I cut the RCA plugs from the leads and plug into surround sound terminals, bearing in mind that this signal goes through the Hi Fi for amplification ?
How does one access the service menu ?
