Hi, I am considering gettting a new Tosh to replace my ageing CRT.
    The Specs look impressive.
    Do you know prices yet?

    hmmm, truely impressive!
As I see, you can pre-order it on Unbeatable for £1,699.99. 2xHDMI is a big plus in my eye, however I was hoping that the new 37" tosh would have a higher resolution (1920x1080).

 I dont think it will be too long.

Tosh seem to be updating their ranges quite frequently.

Do I spend £1700 now or wait a few months and see what they do next

I wish they'd cut down on the SCARTs and give me more inputs I'd actually use (1x RGB SCART, 3x Component on top of the 2x HDMI would be nice).

That resolution is slightly disappointing though, the full resolution of 1080 lines would really work nicely for a display of those sizes.

I agree, I use RGB scart for cable box and thats it !
My DVD and consoles all have component connections.
We seem to lag behind the Americans some what when it comes to connections but at least Tosh are taking a step in the right direction !!

I'm the same, I use my RGB socket for Freeview, but sometimes I relegate this to S-Video because the picture quality isn't exactly fantastic to start with.

I can see sense them including lots of SCART connectors in smaller sets more likely to be used in bedrooms etc, but the people buying LCDs of this size would probably prefer Component...

You would think so I guess and its a shame that manufacturers seem to only cater for the masses and not the AV nuts !
