    HI.

Im wanting surround sound in my room that will work with Xbox, PS2, TV, sky and PC. Im not too into it though - i just want dd 5.1 and some decent sound for halo 2 etc and dvd's. I would probably prefer if i got a dvd player with the system but i could easily do without as i have one downstairs and heaps of things in my room which double up as dvd players. :smashin:

So anyway i need everything which will give me this - the decoder, speekers, EVERYTHING....

Oh yeah and im on a budget - i dont really want to go more than 140 max probably less though if poss...

Someone told me if i got this - http://www.dixons.co.uk/martprd/sto...sku=972428&category_oid=-21914&fm=3&sm=2&tm=1 and a 5.1 sound card for my pc it would give me everything i need (5.1 dd, dts etc)...Obviously i would prefer a Sony Dav or something but if that does the job then it does the job i suppose

£140 is very very tight mate new options limited to JVC THS3????? at a push... Even S/H will struggle what will you connect it to? Perhaps a Video logic digi theatre Second Hand would be best bet........

depends on the system.........most of them have all or almost all you need but you need to choose a system mate.

I can't comment on the actual system, but Kingavon is a cheap make. I remember that name from years ago in the motor trade as being cheap and not the most reliable of gear.

I'd agree with hd, that the JVC THS3 looks OK for the price. For £40 more, it's a well known make with a lot more power.
