New To Home Cinema & Need Help!

After buying a new LCD screen i have noticed that the sound on it isnt that great. (SAMSUNG LE40N73BD)

So i have been thinking of buying for the first time to buy some sound equipment.

Everything is connected to the tv currently. What i will have to use with this system is:

Xbox 360 & Telewest box. All dvds and games will be played on the xbox.

Also would i be able to connect my pc to one of these systems?

I have done some research and ive seen this Sony STRDE400 & the Yamaha RXV359. I would prefer the sony as its cheaper.

As for speakers im looking at these sony ones:

I have also seen a couple of places where i can get the Pioneer HTS-GS1 for £200. Would this be better then the ones above?

Could i do any bettter then this for the same amount. Max is £200 - £250. Im not looking for something that needs to be very loud or anything (dont want to bother everyone else). Just decent sound quality to play a couple games and some films on.

Worth looking at the yamaha av59 package, it the same receiver that you posted (yamaha rxv359) but comes with a set of speakers.

Selling for 199 at most places and get some good reviews:smashin:
