Hi all, any of you Game of Thrones buffs out there, would you be kind enough to help me out on a few things, as I have neither seen any episodes/seasons yet, nor have I got any of the boxsets on Blu Ray yet,
First things first, is there any difference between any of the sets?
Is it best to get the single seasons or get them as either 1-2, 1-3, 1-4 and 5 and 6?
What is the most affordable route to take as I don't want to fork out too much for something that I might not like...

Thanks in advance for any info/advice given..

I'm not sure if there's any differences between the sets. I've got the season 1-4 boxset & if you like the show this is the most affordable option. However as you're not sure if you'll like it probably best to try & get season 1 cheap somewhere. If you have access to Sky I think they've got the first season to download at the moment.
It's a great show by the way.

If you buy the whole lot you wont have to put up with the ridiculous season 3 packaging!

Have you got Amazon Prime? The season 1-4 boxset will be going up as a lightning deal for prime day at 3:50pm today, so that's probably your best shot at getting it cheap.

What's different with the season 3 packaging? I'm slowly buying the individual boxsets, just got the first 2 so far.

It's light grey, the spines don't match, and it has a clear plastic sheath instead of the standard blue-topped slipcase. It looks absolutely nothing like seasons 1,2 and 4, and sticks out like a sore arse.

I got that round that rather nicely by buying the dragon statue set - which houses season 3 hidden away! Its another reason why I wont be buying those new steelbooks (despite them being much more reasonably priced than I thought they would be!).

I believe you can sign up for a free one month trial and it would allow you to purchase.

So, does that mean I can sign up for the free one month trial, purchase the Blu Ray set at 3:30pm, then once it's gone through, cancel Amazon Prime?

So do I cancel Amazon Prime now, once I receive the boxset, or doesn't it matter when?
Where do I go to cancel Prime?

I'd at least wait until your boxset has arrived but as long as you cancel by the end of the months trial you won't be charged. To cancel I think you go to your account, settings then manage prime settings.

Log into your account & click the yellow tracking button.
See if it's still listed as 'out for delivery' or listed as 'delivered', in which case if it says 'delivered'...
