Has anyone got one of the new Ttanium GeForce 3 graphics cards yet?

I'm thinking of buying one if they are cheapish over xmas.

I am running a 16mb Riva TNT2 Vanta PCI, which will be my secondary card.

Mu other option is one of the Kryo II based cards which are nice and cheap anyway. My mobo only supports AGPx2, but from what I can work out you'd need a CPU/FSB much faster than my current 200mhz to be worthwile using a AGPx4.

    Cheers

    Hiya,

The radeon's are generaly considered better for HTPC usage. The current range (DDR, SDR, AIW, VE) however are a touch slow for games.

The newer 8500 however seems to a bit cheaper than the Ti500 (30-50) and about the same on games (Some benchmarks claim higher, but real world apears a touch slower).

I'd have thought that would be the card to aim for, unless your an out and out gamer.

    cya,
    Lee
