Hi all,

I had a AV setup a while ago, a budjet package from Richer Sounds. I loved it! but it had to go, because i wanted a car (18yo at the time). i hav a 28" 4:3 CRT TV, A sherwood RD6106 5.1 DD DTS reciever, and a Cyberhome DVD player with a Gale 5 speaker package, and i later purchased an eltax sub (cant remember all the model numbers)... the system sounded good and was amazing value at under £350.

Back to the current day..

Iv just ordered a Pioneer VSX-915 7.1 DD EX, DTSES 96/24 etc, AV reciever, a Pioneer DVR530H DVD/HDD Recorder, a set of Pioneer S-H310V-QL Loudspeakers for the front just to get me started. i allready have a BenQ PE5120 Projector that i am very pleased with! (200" Screen (16:9) :D)

here are my cables just in case,

-The Audioquest OptiLink-A Cable 1M
-The Audioquest Type 2 Speaker Cable
-QED Airloc Banana Plug + Airloc Termination
-The QED QUNEX 2 Interconnect
-The QED QUNEX P75 Coaxial Interconnect

and a few others like S-VHS and SCART,

Err, the question is, what surround speakers would go well with the fronts that i already have, i also need a sub, im trying to do an all Pioneer setup wherever i can.

im thinking about the following:

Pioneer S-VLF5 Home Cinema Speaker Package
-OR-
Pioneer S-VLF3 Home Cinema Speaker Package

now the difference in price between the 2 packages is about £70,
i like the look of the wood finish, but i only payed £140 for my main speakers, is this package (£440) going to be "too good" for the Pioneer S-H310V-QL's??

and if anyone has any comments on the system or anything they think would go better, or just comments basically,

thanks.
BTW i dont have any of the AV equipment yet, just the projector, still wating for stock, apparantly VSX-915's are in high demand... anyone know how this is going to sound in comparison to my old system..

thanks again,

Mark
