That must be one of the "most done" observations on the whole forums....

    My fave test DVDs:

    Star Wars Episode II
    Titanic (of course)
    Deep Blue Sea
The Lord Of The Rings: FOTR/ROTK
Saving Private Ryan (DTS Special Edition)

Get Terminator 2 Region 1 and play the THX logo in DTS, its the only THX logo ive seen which plays in DTS, anyways also try the spinning disc DTS logo which is my favourite for testing my system out its available on discs like DragonHeart DTS version and also i think its on the Terminator 2 disc i mentioned.

Get yourslf a copy of 'The Hire' from .www.bmwfilms.com The disc contains 8 short films directed by top hollywood directors. The best thing is it's free! :) However you have to pay p&p which works out about £4-5. But...this disc contains some of the best 5.1 sound I have EVER heard. Particularly the shorts called 'Ticker' and 'Ambush'. It's NTSC and non-anamorphic widescreen, but don't let this put you off. The audio is reference stuff and for non-anamorphic the picture is still pretty good. Do not begrudge paying a fiver for what is basically a series of adverts, you won't be dissapointed

Titan AE (R1 dts) - Ice field. Nice surround work out too.

borrowed a copy of Finding Nemo last night from my mate brought it back from Japan*, that gave my sub one hell of a workout. Particularly the scene with the whale and towards the end when Dara is prodding the glass.
