    Hi All

I am just in the throws of purchasing a new sub and am looking at the REL T3.

Can anyone recommend this sub, I will be using with Kef 6000 satellite (wall mounted) speakers, for stereo hifi and also 5.1 surround.

Room size is approx 15 feet square.

Are the T series REL subs any good, am open to recommendations with budget of approx £400

    thanks
    Duncan

    Have a search on XLS200, XLS300 and SVS SB12+

All 3 reap huge praise on here and are usually deemed a far better unit for the money than the lesser REL ranges

I'd particularly recommend a forum search on the XLS-300 which is squarely aimed at the REL T-1, but for considerably less money.

I don't think I'd be making much of a jump to say that the XLS-300 with a 10" driver/PR combo and 300w, will stuff anything sporting an 8" driver/PR and only 150w. The T-1 and XLS-300 are directly comparable and perform in a very similar fashion, thus making the T-3 look a bit sick for the money.

Assuming you mean 15ft square and not 15 sq ft (;)), then you'll find the extra low extension of the XLS-300 very satisfying indeed for only a few pounds over the RRP of the REL.
