    Hello all,
I currently have a KEF KHT2005.2 system which until recently I have been more than happy with. Unfortunately the PSW2010 Sub is starting to malfunction. (Loud humming, pops, intermittent bangs etc ) :(
I was thinking of taking this opportunity to upgrade the sub. My budget is £300. I'm more interested in refinement than out and out THUNDER. (well maybe a little thunder ;) )
I would prefer a wood finish and fairly compact design.
Looking through the threads I am interested in the BK XLS200-DF and possibly the KEF PSW3000 ( although once bitten....).
I would be interested to know how these models compare with the PSW2010 and any reccomendations as to which sub would be more suitable with the eggs.

    Thanks.

For what its worth i have MJ acoustics ref 100. Compact little sub that i'm very happy with and if you shop around it should fall into your price range.

Maybe worth a look at the MS 309, its not going to blow you out of the door but is very nimble and does a great job for me in a normal sized room.

    It also gets good reviews

Its £229 @ RS so is well within your budget so would leave you with enough money for a good quality Mark Grant sub cable. ( something thats on my shopping list).

Go for any Velodyne - see Power Buys - you will not regret it.

    Good luck
