New speed control utility for Pioneer 120

    For all of you who have got the Pioneer 120 or 120S slot loading DVD-ROM drives Pioneer have released a speed control utility so you can set it to quiet mode (you could only do this for the older 106 before). I have tested the utility and it does work and now my HCPC is very quiet :D

    Fantastic! I contacted Pioneer about this when I built my PC and they said that they had no plans to release one so this is a huge surprise. To be fair, for most DVDs the drive slows down nicely on its own anyway but for a few it does not - I'll be downloading this tonight.
