New speakers - which ones to get!

    Am going to buy an MJ pro50 soon, after much consideration and reasearch. I would like to get a new set of stereo speakers and a centre to give my system a bit of a kick up the backside as well. My current setup is:

    -Mission 700 fronts
    -Crappy old Sony speaker centre
    -Eltax LR Bipolar rears
    -Sony STRDE-485 receiver

    I was considering the follow speakers:

    -Wharfedale diamond 8.2 + diamond 8 centre (£200)
    -Monitor Audio Bronze 2 + Bronze centre (£296)

    Would it be worth holding on a while to get the monitor speakers? I have read all the reviews of them and they seem to be my weapon of choice at the moment, though it would be £100 over my £500 budget including the sub. Are they worth the extra wait?

    I realise the amp would be a bit of a weak link in this setup and was thinking of a Marantz SR5300 or Yamaha in the not too distant future.

    i'd pick the monitor audio b2 anyday.. im using it and lovin' it.. have a demo you might like it too.. and yes, they are worth the extra wait!
