Hi there
I'm new to the forum and hoping to get some advice on speaker upgrade. I'm currently using a Technics stereo tuna/amp SA-DV290 which has a bi-amp setup for the main stereo speakers. I have the low speaker outputs running into the low budget speakers that came with the stereo and the hi outputs running through a pair of kef Q5's. It's pretty good to my ears for the overall cost but I would like to replace the two different speaker types with just one pair. I would like to stick with kef ideally as I like the sound of the ones I have. I'm thinking of upgrading to Q7 or maybe Q500 but I'm not sure how the bi-amping would work with these as I don't know what the frequency range is for the hi and low outputs of the amp. I've tried searching on the internet but cannot find this info. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks
