    Hi all,

First off I'm a complete newbie at all this surround sound malarky, but I've done a ton of reading over the last week on these boards.

I was looking for a complete set-up, i.e. 5.1 speakers and a receiver. After a lot of hours I've gone for a BK Electronics Monolith-DF sub and the Onkyo 705 receiver (not ordered yet, just decided they're the babies for me :) ). Now for the speakers...

I'm not interested in music, the set-up is for films and possibly gaming. Also it's for a room that I don't really know the size/shape of yet as we're getting an extension done next year.

Budget? Well, er, not much :D Obviously I want fairly good speakers but I don't want to be spending >£500! Well, not unless it's a "black op" (i.e. one that the missus won't find out about :suicide:

I quite liked the look of the Aego-T speakers but don't know if they'd be good for my set-up and I can't find them for sale without the sub.

Might like to expand to 6.1 in the future too.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for all your help.

    Bob.

That's great, thanks for the reply. I'll have a search and read. The price certainly seems right although I prefer the non-boxy look of the Aego.

Does anyone have an email address for AVsales? I've tried their online form and it gives me an error. I tried [email protected] but haven't had a reply. I'm in work so can't phone.

    Thanks.
