Hi Mr. Furious, I've got some speakers for sale if your interested?
They are http://uk.europe.creative.com/products/product.asp?prod=372 .I've only had them for a few weeks and they are excellant but I've decided to hook my p.c. through my a.v. amp and use my system speakers. I've just paid £85.00 for them, they are as new and in original box etc., I would like £55.00 for them but thats NOT delivered! If your interested mate just send me a reply and I'll investigate shipping costs, If not no worrys I'll stick them for sale in the ads.
    Cheers Oddbodd :)

ps hope I don't get wrong for hi-jacking your thread/querie, I apologise in advance if it's a no no and it won't happen again :suicide:

I like those third ones,at 75 quid they are a bit over my budget but what the hell, long time dead,i say that every time i buy something over the odds,on the £75.00 ones the speakers are slimline which is good because i have a small office room. Thanks for the advice,i think i need a ne soundcard too because i had a dvdrom drive fitted and the dvds play fine but the sound is all distorted and the voices are warbley if you know what i mean!!

glad you like them m8. £63 + vat seems a good deal to me. Have you bought a sound card or does the original one sound ok now you've got new speakers? It could've just been the last speakers you had weren't insulated properly or the amp was cheap and nasty.
