Well just got back from buying a new KV32FQ86U Sony TV.....

I was really impressed with the picture in the shop and after a lot of head scratching I purchased it.

Just plugged the TV in and setup all the scart leads etc and then turned it on to got NOTHING :thumbsdow The set just clicks on (with the red power light) and then clicks off again, then on and off on and off......

NOT HAPPY :thumbsdow , rang the SONY helpline and found that they are only open 5 days a week.... what a great service :nono: It still amazes me that you can ring the likes of Netgear and somebody answers the phones 24/7, but SONY yeh right :thumbsdow

So, my question is ..... Can anybody help or give me some advice ?

    Cheers in advance (I hope)

    Hi
Disconnect your scart leads to make sure that something other than the TV is not at fault. and then get in touch with who you bought it from, they should either swap it or give you your money back.
If you are unsure about your rights, do a search for "sale of goods act".

take it back to the store you bought it from and get them to swap it for a new one.
