    Hi All

Looking at Comet's website, I'm interested in purchasing the Sony KV-32FQ70 which has a good online price. The only thing worrying me is that it states that the model has DRC technology and a Memory Stick feature. Now I thought this was for the 80 model?

    http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/297_897910.html

I called up their call centre who just passed me onto my local branch who have said that it's only just come out and are ensuring me that the 70 does have these features.

Can anyone help me in clarifying this? Should I go ahead and order it?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Paul,

I have the FQ70, it definetly doesn't have DRC or the memory stick, looking at their website it looks like they have put the FQ80 description on by mistake. Also says it has 4 scarts, FQ70 only has 3 (2 RGB though).

I have been very impressed with the set, picture seems much more stable than my previous philips pixel +.

Got mine from empire direct, link below, also has FQ80 on this link. Do a search on FQ70, you'll see a few threads on the model on this forum.

    Thanks for your reply Paul.

I think I shall go ahead and buy it from Comet Direct. I'm buying it for my parents otherwise I'd get it from another website.

    cheers

    No probs, mate.

I'd definetly recommend it. Doesn't seem to have any picture artefacts either.

Oh I nearly forgot, it does buzz a little, not noticeable when tv has warmed up though, can usually only be heard if tv is muted or on very quietly.

Looks nice in the flesh too, grrrr.
