Looks like Sony Ericsson are going to rule the mobile phone markets for the first half of 2004 they just announced the t630 and the p900 due to be released in Janurary.

The t630 is an updated t610 with a better screen and camera and a new design. Link here

The p900 is a more business orientated phone and an updated p800. It is easily better than the p800 on all fronts including most importantly size and weight. Link here

They are both likely to be the best phones on the market for their selected audiences and im seriously considering the t630.

Always been an avid Nokia fan.
However, I did get taken in by the new T610. Unfortunately I'm dissapointed with the Pic qualtiy.
Just want to go back to Nokia now... Have to wait a year though:(

Firstly Fred: I think you'll find all the other phone companies are playing catchup still with the t610 and there is already a new version of it, and if the companies want to challenge for the new year they would be announcing their products now (they dont announce and release phones on the same day).

And Cambo surely if all your worrying about is the picture quality then surely you shouldnt be going back to Nokia since the pictures are pretty even for both manufacturors and few nokia phones actually have cameras. Finally the t610 is supposidly the best phone on the market.

Z1010 looks great as well but will standard GSM handsets be that popular? as Video phones get so much smalller and better.

Well until the major phone companies come out with video services like 3 there wont be much of a market for video phones

Its not the how much each factor its the amount you get free a month, as im only young i can only afford about £20 a month and 02 do a £22.50 with 500 texts which is the best ive found. I would still ove a gx20 though :(

I use vodafone anyway, but I've had my m8's t-mobile, vodafone and orange cards in it and all work fine.

The GX20 has the best cam and sreen on the market at the moment with a 310k pixel camera and 240x320 pixel screen.

But the lack of bluetooth and slighty bulky design mean it could of been a better phone all round.
