New Sky+ Thomson box always humming on standbye!

hi all i just wondered if there is anyway i can make my sky+ box stop humming because only recently it humms when on standbye. this is because the hard drive is full or what? can anyone help please? many thanks

Maybe it's just happy.

Is it the fan or the Hard Drive humming?

im not 100% to be honest, how would i find out? and is there anyway of stopping either because it only comes on during certain times, the day i think
