    Hi there,

Did anyone here see the above sharp 45" LCD TV?

I wonder if you can put 1920x1080 in, or 1366 x 768 and not just 1024x768 and get the black bars like the Philips.

What do you think about Sharp LCD TV's since they are the pioneers on this area.

En what do you think is the minimum/reccomendend viewing distance of this TV?

    All the best,

    Toine

Seen this in a Japanese magazine "Digimon station" - full of techy gadgets etc.

Apparantly has a full HD panel - 1920x1080. Therefore should take a full HD signal, but god knows how you feed it to it, as I don't think there is yet a 1080p source is there?

Must at least take 1080i and deinterlace it.

List price in Japan is 1m yen, which is about £5k. Not bad for a 45" full HD display!

well... if you have a dvd player that can output 720p or 1080p over DVi etc.. of course its not truly that but youll get some improvement over standard outputs.
Should do a decent job deinterlacing aswell.

it has the highest pixel count currently available on the marketplace. Viewing distance won't be an issue with the panel. Any limitations will be down to what you are viewing on it.
