Thanks Lockdown. We just moved in a month ago and had a baby at the same time so haven't really had the opportunity/time to sort out the room. Firstly I need to get the picture frame holders all removed and the room repainted. As I am going to be projecting straight onto the wall, I was thinking of a matt white paint or the Dulux light and space range. If anyone can comment on that I would be grateful.

As for the kit, I feel that I have what I need. The kit is as follows

-Epson TW3500 Projector
-Onkyo TXSR608 A/V amp
-Q Acoustics 2000 package 5.1 in walnut
-Playstation 3 slim
-First generation Xbox360 (unsightly large white box)
-Sky HD

I am very averse to sticking things up on the walls and therefore the projector and speakers will all be on stands or in/on some sort of av furniture.

The lights will be replaced and suggestions for that would be great. At the moment I am thinking of the standard downlighting units which essentially is a track with 3 spot lights on. I will need two to replace the two current lights in the room.

Does anyone have any smart ideas how I can get a TV in to the room without having to have a projector screen dropping down - I want to use wall to project on. I will try and make a proper room layout design so it would be easier for you to suggest ideas.

I like the sound of the Philips Living Colours lights and was wondering if anyone is using them in the cinema room to add some ambience. If so, does it interfere too much with the projector image and is the lamp powerful enough in a room like mine.

The lights I am thinking of having are similar to this

and for the unit to put the fronts speakers on, I was thinking of the following which be next to the wall where I will be projecting on to - ignore the TV and the wall unit

For the AV equipment and projector, I was thinking of the following
